CA Workers’ Confidence Rebounds in July
After four consecutive months of decline, worker confidence in California rose in July, as the state’s Hudson Employment Index (SM) gained 6.9 points to come in at 109.1. Improved financial sentiments and greater hiring expectations drove the rise. California’s latest Index is virtually the same as last July’s reading 0f 108.7. The national Index, based on responses from approximately 9,000 workers across the country, also rebounded 4.6 points to 105.8.
